Dragonslayer

Description

Dragonslayer is a short animation created with a team of 15 people. During the project I started off with story boarding the scenes. Later I moved on to be the lead technical artist and started setting up the asset pipeline we could use to get our assets, which we created inside of Autodesk Maya, into the Unreal 4 engine. This involved getting the whole environment, camera’s, rigs and animations, textures and shaders all inside of the engine.

Besides being the technical artist I did the lighting for each scene as well. As the project moved along and some team members couldn’t deliver the work I remodeled some assets as well so they were up to the standards the art and team lead were expecting.

At the very end of the project I edited the final video together from all the scenes we rendered out of Unreal 4 and added music and sound effects to it.
